Foundations
Linford Civil Engineering have the expertise to deliver a wide range of foundation solutions including strip foundations, ground beams and rafts. Previous projects have included residential units, apartment blocks, industrial and commercial units, welfare facilities and leisure centres. All foundation works are carried out in strict accordance with architect plans and building regulations.

Floor Slabs
We offer a full range of floor slab services ranging from suspended reinforced concrete to block and beam and ground bearing details. We have worked on a diverse range of structures such as commercial and industrial floors, house floors, garage floors and workshop floors with details and finishes varying in design ranging from powerfloat finish to minimal tolerance to a brush finished surface with various falls and grades.

Road construction
We offer a full road construction solution including setting out, excavation, build up, surfacing and disposal of excavated material, maintaining highway specification throughout.
Earthworks and site clearance
From site clearance and topsoil stripping to bulk cut and fill operations we have the capacity to prepare your site ready for the next phase of construction. Our range of services in this area include tree and hedge removal, breaking out and disposing of relic foundations and structures, installing temporary access and haul roads, excavating drainage ditches for surface water run off, topsoil strip and disposal off site, reduce level dig and disposal, importing and engineering fill to build levels.
Drainage
With a vast array of experience we are well placed to undertake all drainage in all conditions. We cover deep and shallow drainage of any diameter, live sewer connections, attenuation tanks and ponds, wet wells and pumping stations, manhole construction, land drainage, septic tanks, rising mains and soakaway systems. We have good working relationships with water boards and a solid understanding of their requirements and specifications.
External works
We offer a full range of external works including 278 works, hard and soft landscaping as well as surfacing and large commercial concrete slabs for indoor and outdoor use. We are a highways approved contractor and are able to deal with licence applications as well as organise traffic management for works in the live highway.
